Windlab receives approval for 30 wind turbines in far Nth Qld

Windlab has received approval form the state government’s Department of Development, Manufacturing, Infrastructure and construct a new wind farm in Far North Queensland.

The project  will include 30 wind turbines that are  expected to have capacity of up to 100mW.

Windlab was established to commercialise wind-energy assessment technology developed by the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO), Australia’s federal research body.

Construction is set to start in the second half of 2018.
