HRA identifies ideal spot for Murchison Renewable Hydrogen Project

A patch of land just 12km north of Kalbarri has been picked as the best in Australia to host a large-scale solar and wind farm.

The West Australian is reporting the project proponents are Hydrogen Renewables Australia (HRA) and multinational Siemens have engaged in the joint-venture with an aim to produce renewable hydrogen for potential export to Asia.

Western Australia’s historic Murchison House Station has been listed for the proposed farm, which will have the capacity to produce up to 5,000 MW through a combination of solar and wind power.
