200 construction jobs on WA wind farm

Work will soon begin on Western Australia’s newest wind farm at Warradarge near Eneabba in the mid-west.

The West Australian reported Energy Minister Bill Johnston as saying the project was expected to create about 200 jobs during the construction phase, with the first power expected to be generated in 2020.

He said the 180 megawatt facility was recognised as one of the best renewable energy projects in Australia because of its location and abundant wind resource.
